Fire Emblem averages about 2.75 hours per session. That's pretty spiffy.

ya, somebody should check how many people have stats for something like wiisports or the mii channel (because pretty much everybody would have to have played around with those at least ONCE) and compare that to how many people have them for the nintendo channel itself (i know it's in there.)

i haven't looked at the internet channels stats in a couple months, but i remember it being something like 50 hours? yes, i'm one of those contributing, because i probably have over a couple hundred hours logged in that.

That would be how they worked out the 1.9 million users.... I would guess they used either Wii Sports or the Mii Channel (the Mii Channel is nearer to being correct as there seems to be about 0.5% of users who used Mii channel, but not Wii Sports.... this could in part be some new users who decided to check out the Mii channel and then Nintendo channel before they played Wii Sports, but it could also be users who never played the game for some reason)

I haven't checked the internet channel use recently as it is not needed for DKII to figure out sales, but the average amount of time spent on it last time I checked for UK was as high as Wii Sports.... I personally have around 800-900 hours spent on it, not much of it in the last year though as I started using my laptop more instead.

This might actually have been enough to convince me to buy fire emblem. I was waiting for a price cut, but at hte # of hours people play the game, it seems like it's worth it anyway.

ha ye i waited like a year for a price cut but didn't see one at all.  One thing i noticed on NINTENDO frankchises is until the gen is over it seems their games stay at full price the whole time.  Pisses me off

High five for Radiant Dawn! All the hours i spent on that "Defend 15 rounds" level, carefully lining up my defenses and watching those noble Crimean soldiers rush out to their deaths against those damnable Crimean rebels

It deserves it

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
