Just wondering is it broke or what.
When I put in game it just says play dvd but wont play.
When I put in dvd perfect.

Sounds like laser is dirty/weak... Do you smoke in the house by any chance? Smoking will do this. My friend had a similar situation where his console was reading Movies and some games (barely) but would often not work.

He got the laser replaced for like 40 bucks at a local 360 repair shop...

The little one was playing bully scholarship 9 hours straight today and I was afraid the drive was Knackered I will check out gamestop Monday to see do they do it.

I think you may have to go to chinese malls for this. The expensive option is to replace your drive...80 bucks. But people that know what they are doing will just replace the laser board...30-40 bucks. :)

Shit where I live repair shops are limited.

yeah its too complicated for those clowns at gamestop. This is going to sound weird, but you need to find people that mod xboxes...they can fix this for you. Unless you are within 1 year of waranty...

Laughing part is we had to drag her off the game earlier and now she is so disappointed.
