Get a 360, you won't be disappointed.

go for wii, nintendo first party are the best games in the market, for more hardcore titles you got no more hereos, madworld and the conduit to cover you up, and the 2 REs also.

Don't forget you have Let's Tap and House of the Dead: Overkill! They both beat Killzone 2 and Halo Wars according to EDGE megazine :P

I have played all 3 extensively and it really is unfair to just pick one without knowing more about you. Each system has its unique points and none are bad.

A few Questions:

1) Do you own an HDTV?
2) Do you have any friends with a console this gen?
3) You said you like Metroid, what other games are your favorite type?
4) What console do you own now?
5) Do you have a Netflix account?

Here is how my console picks would go.

1) Xbox 360- overall for me the 360 has the best line up of games. Even with the new games coming out for the PS3 I still think the 360's library is far superior. When you account for being able to watch Netflix and the far superior Xbox Live you have the best gaming system out there. Tons of JRPG's as well.

2) This was a very hard decision for me, just a few weeks ago I would have went with the PS3 without a doubt in my mind. But after having some hands on time with a Wii I have changed my mind. The Wii is not just a childs gaming console. It has some very good games for it and I think that some people just put it in the kiddie category because they haven't really played it. It's library is not as strong as the PS3's but there are some very good looking games in the pipeline. With its fun new way to control games, I have to give it the #2 spot.

3) Finally I have come to the PS3, the console I originally thought had the most potential of all 3. It is sad to say this but the only reason I keep this thing around is for its Blu-Ray playback. I know a lot of you will scream and cry that I am fanboyish or whatever. But I simply do not get everyones devotion to this black box. With its current lineup and the lineup in its not to distant future it is still a good console and I wouldn't tell anyone not to buy it. But with the current economy and its higher price point there is no way I could honestly tell someone it has any more value than the other 2 consoles out there (which are much cheaper).

All in all you will have to make your own decision and you shouldn't let anyone influence you to much. Go with what suites your needs and wishes. And if any of your friends own any of these consoles go play them, hell even rent a game or 2 and see how you like it.

I don't have a Wii so I can't comment on that. But out of the HD consoles, I'd say the PS3 is better, it's lineup for this year looks superior. But if price really is an issue, I'd wait a few months for a price cut.

get a xbox 360...

ummm..get a ps3 or a xbox 360. i think ps3 might be better cuz of KILLZONE2!!!!!!!!(i am soooooo gonna buy it)!!!!

i think spartanFX give all the goodies of the ps3.
there still problem with the xbox360 RROD and the wii is fun for party only...

can't wait for killzone 2 cause the demo is sooooooooooooo good...
