A game like dodgeball, maybe...
*SPOILER*
So, this scene in God of War 3 when you beat Poseidon to a pulp in his view, Is that 2nd person perspective?

*END SPOILER*
2nd person would be controlling a guy through the eyes of another person. I think.
Time for hype

I believe they are 3rd person, but I don't know because 2D sidescrollers don't really have a perspective do they, and if they do they would all be 3rd right?
Isn't it true that 1st and 2nd person perspective HAVE to be in a 3D realm for that to even make sense. 3rd person is the only one that can be both 2D and 3D right?
I think a 2nd person game looks like this:

You watch your character through security cammeras :O and tell her what to do from a control room.

I think thats 3rd person. Second person would be like the GOW III Video I posted where you kill Poseidon through his point of view using Kratos.

I don't know... I think they're both the same because in God of War III you control Kratos (by the quick time events) while seeing him through someone else's (poseidon's) eyes. And in that game, you control your character (the girl) while seeing her through someone else's (the guy in the control room) eyes.
