Another great score for another great PSP game. This year is looking very good for PSP owners.
Closing Comments
It may not be nearly as deep as the first game in terms of levels, but LocoRoco 2 delivers the same kind of visual flair, solid gameplay and musical addictiveness that the first game had. By expanding on the number of mini-games and diversions, the game adds a ton of content to the series, and provides plenty of things to do for those players that feel a strong need to unlock everything within the title. Were it a bit longer, the game would be pretty close to perfect. However, considering the drought in PSP games, this is a quality title that proves that the PSP still has life left in it.

The story feels almost like a copy of the original game, but is pulled off in a great lighthearted manner that is engaging and enjoyable from start to finish.

The same eye-catching visuals from the first game return with a handful of new animations to highlight the new moves of the blob-like characters.

The catchy and addictive music returns, and you'll find more than one of them will easily get stuck in your head while you play the game.

Gameplay
New abilities and new elements add depth to the gameplay. The downside is that this is half the size of the original game, which is unfortunate, because it's over so quickly.

Lasting Appeal
Three times the mini-games, along with bonus items and abilities gained with replaying the stages boost the replayability significantly.
