Just got Socom and the Official Headset Combo for $39.99 at Circit City Closing Sale...

Problem:

Now the back of the box says it supports 720p, 1080i, and 1080p...

But when I play the game it stays in 720p?

I went into PS3 setting and I have 720p and 1080p selected under display..

I have a 61" 1080p TV..

What do I do to get the game in 1080p?

These people are saying it doesn't play in 1080p, but then some say it does...

Yeah same, the highest I can run it is 720p.
The box also says it has trophy and when I bought it there weren't any trophies!!

Was reading another thread about the same problem people are having..

Someone said that the Videos in the game are in 1080p and thats why they put it on the box.

Others say the game was made in 720p and will only play in 720p, but will upscale.

I have to turn off 720p, 1080i, and leave 1080p to force the upscale..

Seems kind of lame for me to adjust setting every time i want to play a diffrent game...

Hmmm... I'm going to try that out...
