^lol Garnett, nice.

I'm glad you like it. Unfortunately I was massively let down by the low res textures and average gameplay of the demo.

+'s are as follows.

Animation, Effects, lighting, better than KZ1, AI

-'s

breakable scenery not so good, controls (especially when shooting), lack of on screen enemies compared to other games. Textures, many seem low res and flat (certainly didnt expect that). Although better, it still has many problems the first game had. not to disimilar from the first installment.

I think because we were promised so much the -'s stood out so much. Sad really, but thats the way it was.

I agree with most of them.

saying that, I did like the demo. I suppose I was just expecting more from the promises. I'm kinda between 7 and 8 out of 10. But surely the full version will have some really good set pieces right? I know alot of reviewers say it's not as Epic as say Gears2 but it must have good set pieces. Heres hoping. Because Ive dedicated an entire weekend off for the release.

All the -ves you are mentioning could just be related to the fact that this was a demo (except for the controls)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Good thread, Killzone2 has very neat graphics and everything, I like gears 2, but KZ2 is definitely awesome, :), day 1 for me! (hopefully)

GRAPHICS!!!!!!!!! This is the best looking CONSOLE game iv seen,Sorry Gears 2,This is really one THE Best looking console game,the lighting is just stunning,the texturs are up to Gears standards,and on top of that the animations are just INSAIN1! i really like when you blow up the bridge its so awesome


Controls are weird at first but once you get used to them there a breez and you can start owning,I really like the setting,its like a real war zone,this is one of the REAL shooters this Generation,I will be buying this for sure! and KZ2 will be HUGE!!!!!

I'm not usually one to nitpick about spelling, especially when it might be a typo - but come on, "HOLE"?  Twice?  In all caps?  Seriously?
