I bought a psp 3000, i heard it cant be hacked, does that means i cant read PDF on it? i dont want to hack anyway but i do want to be able to put some apps in, it is that posible?

ummmm...it is not possible on the 3000....you would have been better off with the 2000 if you had intentions of running applications

what firmware is your 3000 btw ?? my advice is to dont update your system

I'm pretty sure you can't read PDFs and no custom apps.

It's pretty much the same thing as the PSP 1000 or 2000 except it can't be hacked...yet.

PSP Phat has a horrible d-pad. As far as I know, all of the apps that work on the Phat also work on the Slim. The d-pad on the Phat made me not even care so much about the emulation possible on the PSP. Once the Slim came out, with a much improved D-pad, still not Saturn Godly good d-pad, but actually functional, I loved the PSP. They also added a TV out and better LCD screen.

For your info, I have 2 PSP Phats, both with 1.5, and a Slim. Going to buy another PSP-2000 for backup.

@OP: No, if you bought it from Best Buy, return it. If not, sell it and look for a PSP-2000
