I still hink GT5P looks better than anything this gen more than MGS4 KZ2 Gears2. Hopefully the full release will improve even more

I'm not sure why we are tossing the conduit and GT in there with the others.  It isnt an apples to apples comparison.  GT because its a completely diff genre and the conduit because its in 480p at best.

on the flip side, we can look at it this way:  SciFiBoys siggy pic is a perfect way to illustrate this point.  Look at the size of the 3 units together and recall the power usage of the 3 while running games. (the numbers are listed on these forums somewheres, and its rediculous when they are compared)  The HD consoles and Wii are two totally different animals.

and yet, with that in mind...the conduit really is a nice looking game and I believe quite an achievement for a console of such small size and power usage.  /shrug I can't knock it

in my opinion i give the nudges to gears but then again i base my judgment on more then just the amount of polygons and such

to me graphics =art design , polygon count, textures, lighting, and random details

with art style being far grater then the other ones

but then again i am one of those people that think, if your trying to make something look real and you come close but don't grab it all i can then see are the flaws



but its all a moot point b/c the wii has the best looking game yet to come

(and i know many people agree with me that a great game does not have to try to look real to be the best graphics!)

Gears looks great.... mostly cause it's plenty of details but yeah besides that it looks a bit lower in quality.

KZ2 characters look great but the rest is too plain and you can see the graphical limits of HD consoles.... I much prefer gears and halo due to this...

Conduit is the only game with ONLY in game pics.... and away from release (and low rez?)

GT5... cars look nice... but I hate the rendering of everything else in that game (looking at the grass and background makes me wanna vomit).

Bottom line is; all of this threads posts and opinions are highly colored by bias and preference. No one will convince the other, which is why graphics comparisons nearly always end up in a small battle in here.
