This time last year, I, along with many others, were pretty down on wii third parties. Why shouldn't we be? They weren't doing us any favors with port after port, waste of time after waste of time. However, fast forward to present day and I'm glad to see third parties make a real effort to get us to shut up.

Now, there will never be such a thing as 100% quality titles across the board for any system, but the wii is slowly climbing up the respectability latter with a number of promising 09 titles. Now, I know 09 has already been talked to death, so let's just stick with the near future.

What Q1 games (jan-march) are you excited for? I know January has come and gone, but why not mention something you missed but aim to get back to.

The games that interest me most are Deadly Creatures, House of the Dead, Rune Factory and Mad World. I was never a big Sonic fan and Dead Rising shattered my hope. Nevertheless, the four games I mention, and a possible purchase of Tenchu IV will have my wallet screaming for mercy. This year is already great and will only get better.

Kororinpa 2 for sure since the first was fun (for multiple people) and this is only $30

MadWorld most likely as well depending on reviews

HoTD: Overkill, MLB2K9, Dead Rising - I'll probably get all of them as well but not right away and they may have to wait for price drop or a lull month later in the year

Tenchu 4 - Looks like fun, but I don't have the patience or time to redo entire levels whenever I die. Will probably get it when it's discounted though.

Sonic & Broken Sword - Maybe, just maybe, if they're really good.

Everything else - nah.

Is Kororinpa really only $30? Dang.

There are about seven Wii games I'm interested in coming out in the next couple months, but I'm going to restrain myself to Tenchu and MadWorld, I think. And maybe Kororinpa if it really is $30. Other games will be enjoyed later.
