Forums - Sales - How long (if ever) will it take for Killzone 2 to surpass R2 sales?

I am a EU Beta tester and indeed most beta testers such as myself hated R2 and loved Killzone 2. It got to the point that after playing the Killzone 2 beta, any other shooter just did not cut it for me.

It quality = sales Killzone 2 would be one of the best selling games this gen but that is simplty not going to happen. 3.5 million lifetime, hope that number is reached by Killzone 2 but as I said, the MP alone warrants huge sales.

1 week. £2 million advertising in the UK alone and probably more in america. as of last week more than 1.1 million pre orders in europe and more to follow since the demo was released. this game is the real deal. gameplay and graphics wise and sales wise.

Resistance 2's beta recieved decent reviews but not the rave reviews the KZ2 demo has now recieved with so many new accounts made JUST to try it out. The feedback is extremely positive as well, just go check the Playstation boards, or game site forums like ours, the feedback is humongous! Beyond that, with the budget, marketing, NOW - word of mouth + positive reviews, Sony has a huge hit here, one that is poised to top Resistance 2 BEFORE March 27, 2009.
