Forums - Sales - Na Sales UP!! Depressing After-Holiday slump!

yes, subjective is impossible to prove.

To me 4 threads about whatever is too many, for you it is just right.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Around the Network

4 threads over 3 weeks, with the DS doing bad as a side topic is just fine. Well, if it's too much to you, then it's too much for you.

You can prove a subjective feeling wrong. Well, in a sense at least. I really hate the "it's just my opinion" excuse when it comes up.

"IMO the Ps3 will outsell the X360 by the end of 09"

That's subjective, right? Can I prove it wrong? Yes.

If something has a chance of becomming wrong, it can also be proven wrong - at least to some extent.

One other thing...

I noticed you said " I average 6-7 post a day he averages 8 or 9, that can be done in 30 minutes unless you are writing novels."

It sound almost as it's some work you have to, despite not wanting to do it.

Not saying that you have this attitude, but I at least have the exact opposite. I'm here solely as an entertainment (although the fact that I learn stuff is great), and I don't feel it's a shame if I spend an hour on average here.

If you wanna call that being obsessed, then I'm happy to be so.

But hey! That's just my opinion.

the that can be done in 30 min statement had more to do with me showing you can have 2700 or 4000 post w/o be an obsessive. I come on here cuz numbers interest me, and I have found it to be a good source for pretty much anything gaming relelated.

Also you cannot prove someone's opinion false until it is, it they say the PS3 will outsell the 360 by 3 million this year, you can strongly disagree and even use numbers but really anything can happen, so until the PS3 does not outsell it by 3 million you cannot PROVE them wrong. However, using logic you can usually predict that they will be wrong, but that is your opinion.

I haven't got too much good to say about your intelligence either.... You just repeated what a picture told you :P

Why stop now? It just finally started to become an interesting discussion!

... I actually find most insane/crazy/oddball people far more interesting than other people.

66% of the world's (note: this may sound racist, but when I say world, it's actually more of Europe + Americas + English speaking countries, as I hardly ever talk to anyone else) population is dull. No, that's not my opinion - it's a fact (... okay fine! It's my opinion).

Them being dull doesn't mean that they're completely uninteresting, and that a conversation won't lead to anything, but they'll start talking about clothes or the weather (or crocket...) within 30 minutes.

Now, almost none of the crazy people (now, when I refer to crazy, I don't mean people in mental hospitals or jail... More like me perhaps) fit into that category.

So a crazy person sort of has triple the chance of being interesting.

Overall: Thanks for the compliment  (That was to Bigjon, not the guy who called me retarded :P)
