Eh, I have VT3, I grew bored of it so fast. The game lacks so much challenge, I was wiping the floor with the AI consistantly after only my 2nd match.

The world tour mode was also crap with the needing to pass up matches and rest and whatnot. Whoever designed that should be fired. I just want to play in tournaments ffs.

Its the same problem with any tennis game, once you are used to playing it the A.I. is no longer a challenge.

Did you have the ps3 version of Virtua tennis 3?

The 360 version had online multiplayer and thats where its greatness and longevity shone through, nothing beats playing another humaniod and really testing yourself.

Looks like Virtua tennis 2009 has online for everyone this time so its good news all round.

I get raped so badly every time i play online. I hope they have ranking system this tome cause i hate playing people that have 100s of matches under their belt.

The only tennis franchise that matters if Mario Tennis.

Pfft...Super Tennis (SNES) is better than any Mario Tennis game, and I really like Mario Tennis (and tennis games in general).  I haven't played Virtua Tennis 3 or Top Spin 2, but Tennis 2K2 is way, way, way better than Top Spin.

It's back... and being put to waste. If it were a well made Wii exclusive it'd sell more than it will as a non-Wii multiplat. The Wii is where tennis games belong. In fact, since I have a DC and I'm perfectly content with its graphical fidelity, there's absolutely no way I will even consider buying a tennis game that's not on the Wii (unless I suddenly desire a Virtual Boy).

You do not have the right to never be offended.

So they prefer graphics and online over gameplay?

Im not trolling. If a Tennis games comes from here on out and is not on Wii it makes no sense.

WM+>Analog

Some companies are amazing.

The Wii is the most natural tennis platform. This can't be the best if it doesn't use the Wii controller.

Not everyone is wowwed by motion controls. I still like tennis games on non Wii consoles.
Also wouldn't any simply bowling game, tennis game or whatnot be out shined for the expanded audience since they have that game in Wii Sports already? It's also easier since they don't even have to control the character.
