When you find a worthless thread ignore it and move on. To me this thread is merely a preamble to discussion of which console deserves the predominant support for those that own both high end consoles. Honestly I think it is the smarter move. Less hoops to jump through, and one manufacturer abandoned backward compatibility with the most successful console of all time. Probably not an altogether bad choice in my opinion.

 

And I don't know who is the fool, the one who replied to a thread they thought had something meaningful before they opened it or the one who seemed to think another irrationally opinionated post full of bull was what everyone else should be thinking while at the same time positioning himself as the smartest of the bunch.

Aaawwww shucks, Dodece.  We were just funnin' with him.  I'm bored!  And for the record: Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, I'm an ass hole.  On Tuesdays, I'm a boob (BOOBIES!!).  On Wednesday and Fridays, I'm a fool.  And on the seventh day, I rest.

Can't really speak for anybody else.

I take if you have decided to not enforce forum rules, and are in point suborning trolling. Good for you its nice to see your not taking your job seriously. I sight specifically. This line for the forum rules under spam.

If you have nothing to add to a topic, then go to another topic and post in there instead.

Surprisingly I am the only one who actually bothered to stay on topic. While these other posters I referenced were just taunting and mocking the original poster. Not to mention that you are trolling yourself. Your not supposed to play favorites it doesn't matter how long a member is here. The original poster did not post what they did to just be made fun of. Way to go your advocating thread derailment.

Yeah, I did enforce forum rules. Didn't you just get the warning? Maybe you think you know forum rules better than I do. I guess calling other people assholes is allowed in your version of the forum rules. Speaking of which, what was the original topic of discussion anyways? Was this going to be a thread where multiplatform owners sat around and discussed how much they loved their 360s and hated their PS3s? Yeah, I'm sure that would have turned out well. Especially the part where everyone's trolling and other users start flaming each other. I had the option of locking the thread, but that would have drawn complaints too. What did you want for me to do, just let this erupt into another useless thread full of flames and trolling like half the threads in the forum? Like I said, I'm not going to argue with you. But given your post, you're in no position to question my modding.

Dodece wants serious discussion. I'm game if you are.

I'm a PS3/360 owner too. Originally, I saw my 360 as vastly more engaging than my PS3. As of late, I realize that the two HD consoles both have a lot to offer. Why do you think that the OP feels compelled to shun his more expensive HD purchase? Has
Sony failed to deliver what he was looking for? Did he buy the console in hopes that it wouldn't satisfy his gaming needs? What would you recommend for him in order to make him love his PS3 again?
