I think I've finally lost my mind.
I went to bed last night at 9pm. Got up this morning, at 4am and rushed to work. After my 30 minute drive, I find out that today is my day off and I go back to work, tomorrow!
Also, my kid read me a book, yesterday. It was called "Thidwick: The Kind Hearted Moose". This moose lets a bug live in its antlers. Then, the bug invites a spider. The spider invites a bird. The bird gets married and lets his wife and her uncle (a woodpecker!) live in the moose's antlers. Then some squirrels live in the woodpecker's hole. Before the story is over, there's a damned fox, some bees, a motherfucking bear, and some other animals living in this moose's head! I don't know why, but I enjoyed this story waaaaay more than somebody my age should have.
On my ride home this morning, I hear a commercial on the radio. I was pretty inspired. It said something like: "Get out of your comfort zone. When you start doing things that you aren't used to, that's when things start to get interesting!"
I started thinking, "You know what, this commercial is right! I need to start taking some risks! My life HAS become pretty routine, lately."
The commercial continues: "Come to Office Max. We have deals on ink pens, paper, blah blah......."
OFFICE MAX? A fucking office supply store? Fuck you, commercial! Getting me all inspired and stuff to sell me supplies for the most routine life of all!

lol I had a somewhat similar thing happen to me. I woke up one morning and I shut the alarm off, got dress and went to the bathroom. After that I made my launch for work and sat down to have breakfast. It was then I started noticing it was still pretty dark outside (usually the sun starts to come up while I'm eating breakfast) I didn't think much of it I thought it was probably cloudy out. So I finished breakfast and decided to look at the clock, turns out it was 1:30 AM I still had another 5 hours till I go to work. Damn that morning sucked, but it was nice to get another 5 hours sleep after that :)
