Anyone notice how it said "2008 Sony Computer Entertainment" at the bottom of the main menu? Maybe the full game will look even better, albeit slightly.

It's not as great as many of you put it out to be. TBH, it felt like playing just another average shooter. It's not as slow as I thought it would be which is a good thing. Graphics are okay but not as great as the videos put it out. Too much grey for my taste. Standard controls are awful. Alternate 2 was the best for me.

For the first half of the demo, I didn't even get to shoot anyone. All my allies shot the bad guys. WTF? Way to go! I hate that when you zoom in, it stays zoomed in.

 

You're being serious about the graphics?  They are wonderful.  Even on an SD TV they are wonderful.

Alternate 2 was the best control setup for me as well.

 

Push start and go into options and something like "Zoom Hold"  select that option and it's a more traditional zoom.

Maybe you just suck at fps gaming, i killed 90% of the helghast.  Though its nice that your team does it job and not just get in the way like other games.

lol average shoooter do you work for MS ?  This thing is very differant then any other shooter.

The realism feeling the ai which is actully competant and it makes you feel like you are in a fire fight unlike other which make you think wow this is fake.

you dont sound like a fps fan.

Holy crap I had to stop my download for like 2 hours :( Some serious electrical work had to be done here, the power had to be switched off. DAMN, that's a crime!! 30% now that I resumed....shit shit shit

I love this. Just because I didn't like the KZ2 demo, it's because I suck, I work for MS and I'm not a FPS fan.

@Rpruett, good to know about the zoom thing. I'll try it out later.

Just finished the demo, the best part of the game was the sound, its by far the best part. The sound felt so nature and had this raw power about it, no other game comes close. The graphics are great, but not OMG i just jumped off my couch.

Now we come to the controls, they are horrible IMO. I never felt this weight that you guys feel. But the thing they screwed up most is when you go to the iron sites the aiming feels increased in speed, Which is very wrong. It becomes almost impossible to line up shots 100% like in CoD where the aiming is slowed down when you go into iron sights.

Overall 7/10 for the demo. Maybe it will get better the more i practice. But with one play through of the demo i'm not all that impressed.
