Superb! I have been hyped for this for a while now, and everything looked to be great but you never know with RTS on consoles. So I am REALLY happy that I love everything about the game, the controls, the cutscenes, the story! I let out a huge sigh when the demo ended.

No, no, no.  It's only possible because of the xbox's external power brick.  This game can not be done on consoles that have an internal power supply.

I heard it was the proprietary hard drive, yo.

Can't wait to get home and download this.

this demo could be the worst thing that has happened to Halo wars sales,,,cause more people will know it's RTS and not FPS, which could cannibalize its sales.

good news for fan of the genre though ;)

Way to suggest that the average 360 fan is too stupid to know the difference between an RTS and FPS...  "Look it says Halo, just buy it!"

On topic, two more hours for me, anyone who played it have any impressions?

I wish they hadn't put this demo up the same day as K2. I really want to see if it really does have tight controls and is a fun game for myself. I've been very suspicious and critical of the game as being a cash in on the Halo name but I want to see for myself.

I don't think you can 'cash in' on a game when you've asked one of the best studios to develop the game...

A Mario game made by From Software? Cash-in. Capcom? Nope.

Funny. Games like Crisis Core and the movie Advent Children are usually reffered to as cash ins on the FF VII name despite having high budgets and skilled developers and programmers. What makes this different? I see it as a cash in of the same type. Not a lazy one. But definately trying to use the name of the brand to get high sales and transfer it to a different genre that it's not really home to yet. And sorry, but I've got to be proven that the brand deserves to be in the genre. It gets no free pass from me.
