If that ends up the word, that the controls are excellent, and the AI is competent.  All we need is the reviews to set in.  Then throw in that console owners actually DO want to play RTS games, the way they want to play FPS titles, and Halo Wars just might put itself in the place that the original Halo did with FPS.  And everyone will steal the controls and we will get more RTS titles on the 360 (and other consoles), and hopefully some turn-based stuff to.

I need to get ahold of the demo sometime today, and hope the controls are a blast.

Console owners WILL buy a good RTS. The issue, like every other genre, is that there haven't been any superb ones.

I thought C&C 3 was mediocre in terms of it's RTS controlling, but it managed over 500,000 units.

I think that Halo Wars may be the first million-selling RTS in console history, and maybe the 2nd million seller of 2009 for the 360 (Skate 2 may take this honor first in terms of release date).
