So it's PC and 360 exclusive still, but PS3 owners can always hope.

L4D is awesome!!! It just sucks PS3 owners cant enjoy this awesome game.

Are PS3 owners forbidden to buy a PC? And if a PC owner like me buys L4D for PC automatically gets forbidden to buy a PS3?   And how about Wii? Will I be able to buy one if I buy L4D for PC?

Actually, you would be better off with the PC version.  As someone mentioned earlier, several patches have been released for the PC that are greatly needed on the 360 version.  An example, 50% of time I get on the elevator in mp I will either get team killed for my health pack, drop out of the floor of the elevator because my teammate hit me with a pipe bomb, or will be trapped in the elevator by a generator.  The game is a lot of fun, but as usual if you don't play with friends you will probably experience some level douchebaggery.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

I think i know why its only on 360/PC.

1.360 versions sell better 90%of the time.
2.Blue Ray is useless (For this game) its only 4.5 gigs lol
3.ps3 is harder to program for.
4.They said they made the game damn near shitty quality graphics (to others) so the game can always run smooth.

and it cost more for a blue ray disc when its really not needed, and its not guaranteed to sell.

1) If you judge the performance of previous multi-plats(Not timed exclusives), Valve is sacrificing about 1 million unsold units YTD on the PS3.

2) The Blu-ray would never scratch, and it wouldn't sound like an airplane engine when I played it.

3) Agreed.  Plus Valve doesn't have the in-house PS3 expertise.

4) Have you entered the train in the Subway on No Mercy, or reached any crescendo event on any level?  The game will slow to a crawl.  I kind of like the graphics.

@axumblade: LOL
@dbot: I agree, in fact I feel the console most suitable to complement my PC would be a Wii, as it offers the most different gaming from previous existing ones.

1.Games always sell better 360,well not always but most of the time, the cost of deving for PS3 and Br disc would be useless as it would basically eat the profits.

2.Who cares BR would never scratch, the game is only 4.5 gigs, and DVD are cheaper than Blue Ray is a cost issue really, and who cares if it sounds likea airplane engine.

3.The PS3 version would have bugs and/or low frame rate, cause only very good devs can master it :)

4.My game never lagged,it has a framerate drops but not anything but, think if they had KZ2 graphics and a not so linearl level,it would be lag fest!

i have a ps3 and am enjoying this game thoroughly.. on my PC. doesn't need to come to ps3. PC version would be better than the ps3 version and is better than the 360 version.
