Yes I agree with NJ5 they would never do a crap port of it because it is an old and established franchise not like DR which is a new IP.
Yes kanaryia it can look twice as good as RE4 which is more than enough

I played the demo on my PS3 and decided that unless they release a Wii version I'm not getting this game.
Although I expect a Resident Evil game will be coming to the Wii, I don't think that it's going to be a port of RE5. So I think you might as well get it for 360 if you really want it.

Don't you own a 360? You should just download the demo and try for yourself. Personally I'm fairly apathetic towards RE5 after the Demo but it might help make your decision easier.
EDIT: If you try the demo, make sure you're using Type A controls. Two stick set-up is horrible.
Like the others have said, if you like RE, liked the demo and the controls already, just buy the game. If, on the other hand, you hate the controls then just wait for the Wii version. However, they have not announced one, so don't hold your breath.
Even if Capcom decides to port RE5 to the Wii today, it will take wt least a year to release the game, which by then is too late...
RE5 launch on the Wii could be a long wait, say over 12 months. Assuming there is a Wii version of RE5. It all depends on how much you liked the demo of the game. The controls are sluggish and very dated for an action/shooter game. RE5 is just an upgraded RE4 and offers nothing new. RE5 looks and plays more like RE 4.5
Wii version of the game could offer better controls and be more what you are looking for.
Who said that there is anything wrong with a sequel that offers updated graphics, coop, a new setting, new characters, enemies, and levels to a game that is already great? If you want to wait for a Wii version that may not even come go ahead, but I personally can't wait for this game to come out.
