OT: This broke me...I've been defending Vesperia's insane battle system against this one for a while now. But its not going to work much longer.

It looks, easily, like the greatest Real-Time battle system I've ever seen in a JRPG. This thing looks A-MA-ZING, /thread.

looks great

but the best real time battle system I have seen was a 5 days ago in the new FF13 trailer

I am just loving the story though!!

exploring new planets to live on....thats a true kind of childhood dream I've had.

but the gameplay confirms thet grfx are nowhere near FF13 either

Anyone who has had the delight of sampling the SO3 battle engine will know already that SO4 battle engine will be sheer bliss and I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!!!!!

@Mr. devidem: I think you need to see the Final Fantasy gameplay again, man. This Gambit system 2.0 thing just looks too linear for me. I wouldn't mind going back to turn based, but it looks like FFXII's gambit system partially reimagined, and tbh, I wasn't a big fan of 12's system. It also doesn't look even close to as wild and fast as SO4, imo. As far as battle systems go, as I've played, anyway for JRPGS:

Tales>Kingdom Hearts>Pokemon>SO3>FF(turnbase)>BoF. Course, these are my top 6; and I've played alot of JRPGs.

You have to post 20,000 times to embed videos. And that battle system looks good, but god, the dubs sound so bad.
