Has anyone played this, my internet is crap so it takes really long to download. I was wondering if it is worth 60 bucks becuase i read that its gameplay was outdated according to IGN

What EXACTLY was the problem that so many are talking about? I don't have access to the demo right now. You'd think it'd be easy enough to copy the Res 4 controls. Is it too clunky or something?

The controls are mostly the same as they always been and that is the problem. The game feels old and outdated compared to the other good games available now. The knife is the worst thing in any game I have ever seen and it just seems dumb to not be able to move and shoot at the same time these days. The game could be good, but it is not very fun for me after playing so many great games the past couple of years...

There is no problem with the controls. If you want Resident Evil 4 controls, take control TYPE A. If you want more sensitivity, just change it in the options. Simple as that.

I thought the demo was boring, just my opinion.

Honestly, the game is bad. Of course, it's a resident evil, so it will get at least decent reviews, but if it was an orginal IP, no one would talk about this game.

Good:
- Graphics
- Cool cooperative moves
- Many different type of ennemies

Bad:
- Controles in general: the characters are low, you can't move and shoot, the camera's too close.
- The atmosphere: I think it's pretty ridiculous
- It's not a survival horror anymore
- very average level design
- and so many other stuff.

I doesn't worth 60$ for sure. It will probably be the biggest disappointement for this year.

Controls aren't an issue, in a few minutes you get used to them, and if you want faster cursor speed you can tweak it in the options. With a competent player co-op is an intense affair and will get your adreneline going.

It's RE4 in Africa. Nothing more nothing less. If you play RE4 with a GC controller on wii and think that the gameplay feels horribly dated and not fun anymore then you probably won't like RE5. If you think it's still bitchin, then RE5 will be also.
