According to Gaming Target who has an anonymous source
that says the game IS coming to America in 2009, but may not even be released under the name 'Fatal Frame'! What other name are they going to call it? The original Japanese name? Or Project Zero? or something new altogether?

Fans are no strangers to the name game with this series, known as Zero in Japan, Fatal Frame in the US, and Project Zero in Europe. European fans have already been dealing with name change speculation concerning the fourth game, since the Official Nintendo Magazine (UK) called the game Fatal Frame IV instead of Project Zero IV.

Why any publisher would throw away the cult of popularity the series has gained over the years is questionable, but the desire to start fresh, and make Fatal Frame more than a cult series, could be the impetus behind that decision.

I guess is because the merge between Tecmo and Koei. So it's going to be called Project Zero??
