Lol at the Gamespy message. Boss battles in Metroid were always good, but it sounds like IGN were pretty impressed to make such a sound statement. Nintendo is teasing us with the big 3 making them constantly changing position as most anticipated games. First Galaxy,then Brawl, now MP is on top. No gamer is ever sure in which order they want them.

A friend of mine just scored a mod chip - and is modding his Wii tomorrow. Metroid arrives a couple of days later (I'll be there checking it out... at the very least).

Dude... i'm considering buying a US Wii JUST FOR Metroid... it would be stupid though, so a Mod Chip is also on the cards...

It's probably a better idea to mod my wii and then buy another PAL Wii if it ever gets bricked... that's probably what i'll do, but there is a chance or a danger that the import version wont work with a Modded Wii... i'm going to wait until after it comes out and find out through the internet.

If only there was some way to convince Nintendo that they NEED world wide releases, it pisses fans off so much... I hate it but I accept it - I imported Cube Gen, I should have this Gen too but Nintendo tricked me into thinking it would be better with a WW launch.

I can't import Brawl though because if they have the same online system as Strikers which I imagine they will then it's Australia only for Online play and i'm not playing against americans with shitty lag in that game Strikers to Europe is a joke.

I already reserved my copy. Too bad for you people who have to wait. :D

Fuck I hate previews that tell people what they've done in the game so far, they are so crap. The IGN Preview was fucking perfect, the Gamespot one is bollocks and doesn't give anything new, there is no point reading it...

I told ck in another thread... THEY'RE COMPARING MP3 WITH BIOSHOCK/HALO... WHY?! Jesus some of the 'pro' journalists are serious dumb f*cks. I'm soooo angry at 1UP's preview. WHY THE HELL do you ALWAYS have to compare Metroid to Halo? Or to games on the 360?

IGN's preview was perfect. Had everything a diehard Metroid/Wii fan wanted to read, nothing more, nothing less.
