The lack of attention for the game is disturbing...
Personally, I'm very interested in it, and don't worry about it getting to the west. It surely will.

If Yakuza 3 isn't getting that much attention in the West, then I'm shocked.  I thought Western gamers liked realism and games that push the boundaries of their respective consoles.  Yakuza 3 is full of realism and system pushing graphics.

And will get here in... like a year and a half?

I mean can you really be expected people aren't giving attention to a game with no western release date?

I'm so tempted to get Yakuza 1/2.

I was playing teh first at my store a few weeks back...

"Hey! He touched my ass!"

"Wha...?"

Such a funny game.

I have the second game.. it's freaking awesome. I can't believe these games are so low profile in the west. If more people tried it i'm sure it would go way up on peoples radar.

Check out my game about moles ^

That isn't stopping FFXIII from getting a lot of hype.

The idea that a game that looks this good won't see release outside of Japan is vexing. I am vexed.

We didn't know it was releasing a year and a half afterwords?

I mean that was back when Square was all talking about "Simaltanious world wide release dates."

Not sure where there idea wnet as company standard.

Also, Final Fantasy has been big since FF7.  (Well even before then, but super big since then.)

FF7 had a giant campaign of which hasn't been repeated since to build up the hype for it.
