If Yakuza 3 isn't getting that much attention in the West, then I'm shocked.  I thought Western gamers liked realism and games that push the boundaries of their respective consoles.  Yakuza 3 is full of realism and system pushing graphics.

 

And will get here in... like a year and a half?

I mean can you really be expected people aren't giving attention to a game with no western release date?

 

That isn't stopping FFXIII from getting a lot of hype.

I mean that was back when Square was all talking about "Simaltanious world wide release dates."

Not sure where there idea wnet as company standard.

Also, Final Fantasy has been big since FF7.  (Well even before then, but super big since then.)

FF7 had a giant campaign of which hasn't been repeated since to build up the hype for it.
