Because according to the advertisements VGChartz supports it.

I've just seen advertisements for http://www.mywiidownloads.com/ which is a site that you can apparently "Download Wii games and burn them to a DVD with no loss of quality" Dunno how this makes you all feel, but it makes me feel sick.

This is a games site, for people who actually appreciate them. Please have a word with your ad suppliers.

EDIT: The other worry is that this is just a fraud site, which would mean Users who are silly enough to pay their "One Off Fee" could end up losing money and blaming this site for guiding them there.

Websites don't always have control over their adverts... I have seen similar adverts on other game sites too. In fact it generally depends on where you have likely been on the internet, so if you have been on sites like that before it is likely to put ads up for it.

1% of PS3 owners are pirates.
5% of Wii owners are pirates.
10% of 360 owners are pirates.
20% of PS2 owners are pirates.
30% of DS owners are pirates.
50% of PSP owners are pirates.
80% of Dreamcast owners are pirates.

Don't ask me where I got that from, you know it's true. ~_n

As for me, I am 100% legit on current gen consoles. Handhelds, that's a different story.
