Forums - Nintendo - New Brothers In Arms Wii Screens. Looking good.

It looks like the developers are not being 'lazy' with the graphics, so I'm crossing my fingers hoping that will also cross over to the gameplay.

True true... Even though it's not my type of game, I must say, the 4th screenshot looks amazing..

You can't argue that every game on the Wii looks better in motion...every game ever made looks better in motion...

Certainly some games are more true to this than others though...such as Metroid Prime, where the screenshots sucked...

Um... I didn't. I clearly said MOST Wii games look better in motion. I guess I should have said many Wii games look significantly better in motion.

I certainly agree that all games look somewhat better in motion, but I think the difference between screenshot and in-motion is more pronounced on the Wii than on PS3 & 360 because of the difference in resolution.

I'm not to sure abou those, but the MOH:H2 screens look better to me:

More pictures here. Now, these pics might be pre-rendered, but i don't think so. Anyways, this game looks alot better than BIA.

I honestly don't see it at all. The screenshots from MOH are dull and grey compared to the colorful shots of BIA. I also don't see any beautiful lighting, large environments, nice looking vegetation, etc like in the BIA shots. And the mountains in the background of the first shot look like they're made of about 12 polygons. Textures look kind of blah too.

I'm not saying MOH looks bad, I just don't think it looks nearly as good as BIA (at least from the screenshots I've seen, and yes, I did click the link and look at all of them).

I find the graphics nice, and i was one of the few that enjoyed BIA for the DS(Since not many have baught it, not that it's not great.). I might consider it since CoD 3 and Vanguard dissapointed me for the Wii.

BIA is a great game series, if you pass it up thinking its just another shooter then I personally think you are missing out on a great group of games.

My beef with the graphics of most WWII games is, they make everything grey and gloomy. Grey streets, grey mountains in the background, grey buildings, grey cloudy skies, grey water, etc. I think they do this to try and get the gloomy atmosphere of war, but that makes for some boring graphics. I mean, just because there's a war going on there won't ever be blue skies? Nice sunsets? Bright foliage? That was what was so refreshing about the BIA screenshots, some color! Nice foliage! It looks more like a real countryside than an overly grey depressing battlescene. I'm sure there were both in WWII.

I think these screens look very impressive. The drawing distance looks very good also. I don't care if it's another WWII FPS. If it plays well, I will buy it. Vanguard was ok, I really only bought it so I could have a multiplayer FPS option on the Wii when the guys come over. And even that was very disappointing. Thanks for posting the pics.
