I think we see why Sony didn't push Lair at E3.
Kinda sucks...I was hoping Factor 5 would grow a little instead of simply flaunt the great graphics.

Lair might get bad scores all around, but I think the Warhawk thing will be an anomaly. You can't call Warhawk incomplete if they aren't charging you full price and they are very upfront with the fact that it is multiplayer only.

wow Warhawk a 6.5.. wtf... I was in the beta the game is amazing. Its a better shooter then halo will ever be.
I am about ready to write off Lair as mediocre for good, but I think Warhawk was probably docked just because of it's multiplayer only nature. I played the open beta on my friend's PS3 and had a great time.
I haven't seen any receny #s but the major problem for Warhawk just might be the somewhat low PSN user rate. Back in April, there were reports that 1.3 million users had accessed the free PSN which puts less than half of the PS3 owners by that time having used it. While the %s may have increased since then but assuming they haven't, if only 50% of owners actually use the PSN, just how many of that % will buy the game? It makes a small userbase even smaller and Warhawk doesn't sound like it was all that cheap of a game to make.
To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.
