Keep in mind that anything after March is most likely placeholder (except for some sports games). Any that is on the first of a month later in the year is definitely placeholder.

SD means Street Date. And games with a Street Date will be received early by stores, to make sure that every store has the game day one.

And they have these lists in front of the registers at every GameStop for all to see...

Keep in mind tha GameStop's system has quite a few inconsistencies.  For example, we've had God of War III in our system since the beginning of 2008, long before it was even announced.  Hell, when it was first in our system it was just labeled as "God of War", with no numerals at the end.

Comparitively, White Knight Chronicles is not yet in our system, despite the fact that it has already been featured in GameInformer multiple times and will likely release at least six months before God of War.
