Well it's pretty sad but after 2,000 tries and nearly getting it on Paranoid but missing the same 2 phrases over and over. I found out Still Alive is the only song where you can let the song sing to itself basically.
"but if you want the free download song Still alive.
go into options turn all volumes right down, except vocal volume to full, mic volume 0 mic sensitvitty full then put mic to speaker while playing it that gets you 100%"
I found that on one of the rock band achievement boards, it works for the singing impaired.
According to Major Nelson the deal of the weeks are going to be back on Live. Braid is going to be $10 tomorrow. So I can finally get the game (at the price it should have been originally).
Hopefully Castle Crashers goes to the same price eventually so I can get that.
Hi there,
I am adding myself to your gamerscore league my gamertag is dabas.
Thanks.
Ok so i have some achievement questions...
The first couple involve Rock Band 2. Does anyone know how you get the fill achievements for the drums, i've thought i did it right but never got it, and how do you get the more umulats achievement. The last one is the 100% on solo with solo buttons, i did that with one of the original rock band songs that had a really easy solo but i never got it.
Any help with this would be great, thanks
Damn Capcom. They made me spend 60 bucks on Street Fighter 4. I really didn't want to do that!
Ah well, beats paying 89 for the SNES version of Street Fighter 2 :)

On the fill achievements you have to pass them all on a certain speed for each achievement. On the left you'll notice you can change the speeds to about 4 different levels. This is the description for the hardest fill achievement "Completed all fills at 100 BPM or higher or half of the fills at 180 BPM or higher". Personally on all of them, I went for half the fills at a higher speed because there were a few I couldn't do slower initially.
For more umulats all you have to do is make your own band logo and save it.
For flawless guitar solo, you need to use one of the Rock Band specific controls and only press the small solo buttons and do it perfectly. Find a song with a really short solo or one with a lot of the same notes played and it should be easy. I forgot which song I used myself.
By the way, I'm not really feeling "removing Rock Band because there's a sequel" as a good idea right now eagleseye (especially with RB having more owners than RB 2). I think I know where your going with the endless sequels and not wanting a bunch of multiple games on Platinums but here is my take on it.
I think any series should be allowed at least 2 games in Platinums if they are difficult/popular. If you want to set the limit at no more than 2 games for the yearly franchises that would be a better idea. The series it would immediately affect would be the Call of Duty's and Guitar Hero's of this world. I don't think anybody would be sorry to see COD 2 with it's 12 achievements and easy 1000 points go. Guitar Hero II could go if you feel it needs to. Those are actually the only 2 series who have more than 2 games in the Platinums so I don't know why you'd go with Rock Band first...(conspiracy!)
So to sum up: You could either keep the latest 2 games in each franchise or keep the 2 games of a franchise that best fit the combination of most owners/hardest achievements. I'd go with the latter myself.
