I thing it's the right time to be released, giving enough time to developers to finish the game without rushes and just after all the great exclusives and multimplatform titles coming in the fourth quarter of the year. But GT5 has to be ready this year.

I hope this is true. I don't want to see GoW3 or GT5 stick their fat asses in against Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2. I think it either has to be GT5 this sumer or next, and GoW3 Feb/Mar next year. Any other situation starts killing off other exclusives.

Either GT5 or GoWIII will hit this holiday season. Not both.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if GoWIII hit in March 2010.

This doesn't seem like much of a rumor at all. The rumor should be it releasing anytime outside of March 2010.

No. Looking back, it was rather unlikely to ever come out in 2009. Uncharted 2 and God of War III were both shown at the VGAs. At the end of Uncharted's trailer, it said "Fall 2009". At the end of God of War's trailer, there was nothing.

March is the month of Ares, the Greek God of War, is it not?

And no, Sony never said anything about the release date. The 2009 thing was a big assumption made by lots of game sites.
