In response to a thread about Killzone 2 (aren't they all these days?) I decided to host this poll.

4 ground rules

1) You must have played games from both series to vote. If you have not, please don't vote as it will skew the numbers

2) Timesplitters will be compared to Halo, Timesplitters 2 will be compared to Halo 2, Halo 3 will not be used in this comparison

3) Providing a reason as to why you prefer the game you do would be nice

4) No criticising people's choices or reasons

So my votes are as follows

Never played TS1

Prefer TS2 to Halo 2

Played all 4, never played much Multiplayer on any of them, single player i loved Halo1 and Halo 2, never liked the feel of TS, TS2 was better, but was not able to enjoy them, much less finish them, so  i vote.

Halo- Awesome game.
Halo 2- revolutionised online console multiplaer.

TS 2 had the best multiplayer this side of Goldeneye N64 and trumphs Halo 2 on that alone. In addition it has humor galore, cool visuals and a banging co-op mode!

Halo 2 > Timesplitters 2 (I was disappointed with TS2's SP)
Time Splitters: Future Perfect > Halo 3 (TSFP would have been the best console shooter of all time if it had online MP)

Played all 4 games and TS was my first PS2 game back in the day, but they hold nothing on the greatness that is Halo and Halo2. Its like comparing UT to a good game.

Never played TS

But I definately prefered Halo 2 to TS 2. Just the feel. Halo I walways wanted to play more... Timesplitters I could just play it and put it down.

Timesplitters 1 is nothing special and is more along the lines of early flawed but still enjoyable FPS games like REd Faction.

Timesplitters 2 is a different animal and is very enjoyable, infact probably the best FPS game on Gamecube and PS2.

That being siad, halo 1 destroys it in single player and multiplayer. As does halo 2...not even considering xbox live online.

Hadn't played Halo but have played both TS's as well as Halo 2.

TS2 gets my vote, easily.
