They should start this Saturday already, and then again on the 21st, UFC is pretty fucking big in the UK.
Anyone got any stats and figures for any other game's advertising budgets?
Good, now lets see some amazing things, Sony.
Hype this game up to the people who don't read forums.

Erm... *coughs*, *slightly uneasy*.... what's UFC?
| SamuelRSmith said: Interesting fact: the largest two advertisers in the UK are Procter and Gamble, and the UK Gov't. on-topic: Hopefully some of that money will go to cinema adverts, they seem to be much more effective (anecdotal, of course) than standard TV ads. |
Cinema ads are definitely more effective. The screen size and surround sound make whatever they're showing more impressive, and people are basically forced to watch the advert.

Final Fantasy 7 was the lead game in a 100 million pound advertising campaign in the UK.

They also have the Killzone 2 bundle here in the UK so Sony really pushing the game here. For NA the budget must be immense, it is the land of the shooters after all. :P
