Street Fighter IV Alternate Costumes

Check out the bonus duds for every single character in Capcom's upcoming brawler.

January 27, 2009 - If you've been following IGN's coverage of Street Fighter IV, you've already seen a number of the playable characters in their normal outfits. What you've yet to witness are the alternate outfits for each. That's about to change.

Capcom isn't saying if this gear is unlockable in game or is available as downloadable content. What we can tell you is that the outfits range from boring to extravagant to hilarious. Each alternate also comes with more than a half-dozen color options, so if you prefer your Blanka in hot pink, you can make it happen.

Street Fighter IV ships for PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 17. It remains to be seen if these alternate costumes will be accessible at that time. As soon as we know, we'll let you know. Until then, feel free to spend your days and nights planning out which characters will wear which costumes once Street Fighter IV is in your hands.

DLC ftl.

I hope it's not DLC...

It's going to be DLC. Ono was saying how he doesn't like the idea that those unlocked it for the arcades spent 1000 + hours to get those costumes and for consoles would be easy to unlock. Yes, I know, stupid reasoning. I wont be buying these , aside from the 5 that come with the CE of SFIV, hopefully I can choose which I want. Oh, rumor has it that the costumes are in the disc already, but u need a "code" or w/e to unlock it, if that is true, I'd be super pissed.

Nash/Charlie FTW! Oh yeah, and Chun Li's outfit is cool also.
