Forums - Sony - Killzone server crashes day 1?

With as many pre-orders this game is getting and a history of day 1 server crashes (LBP, Socom, MGO, GTAIV) is it safe to say that Killzone 2 will just not work online day 1? Either that or laggy as hell. When i was in the beta there was almost no lag, if any at all. However the people in the beta was limited compared to a full market exposure. I'm worried I'm not gonna be able to do some more online which got me addicted.

CURRENTLY PLAYING:  Warframe, Witcher 2

Very possible lol. might even need a patch.

I want to get online just enouph to get my clan made so no ones gets smart and steals my name. Hopefully my clan settings is still there but a 98 percent chance everything was wiped.

CURRENTLY PLAYING:  Warframe, Witcher 2

Depends, LBP was 1st party but neceserilly online based, KZ2 is online based and 1st party so it should receive alot more support

Currently playing: MAG, Heavy Rain, Infamous

Getting Plat trophies for: Heavy Rain, Infamous, RE5,  Burnout and GOW collection once I get it.

@ axumblade )

it just makes no sense to have a serversupport for millions of players at day one, when after week 1 the players online at the same time will be drastically lower than in the first 24-48 hours

i think to many people will jump online straight away and will need to be patched, i cant wait for the game.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

focus on the campaign first day people. sony it's going to get hammered by that first week.

well on day 1 il be playing single player ; ) but the servers shouldn't jam sonys getting the hang of online eg, resistance 2 ran like butter warhawk was just 1 big problem

I always play the campaign before I play online, so I probably won't be online before the server issues will be figured.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

Crashing servers are a sign of success these days.
Some will say that if the servers don't crash it's probably because no-one is playing it.
So even if it holds, they just pull some plug at some occasion to simulate something.

... ok ok, just kidding ;)
