Dirge is a shooter. Versus isn't.
They're not really comparable.
Of course, Versus could still be an atrocity for other reasons. Nomura is heavily involved so it either has a chance to be really good or utter trash.

We've already gotten in-game footage actually. Just a clip though and it was not during battle.

We'll start hearing a lot more about the game as Final Fantasy XIII gets closer to completion. Right now, Square-Enix is completely concentrated on getting Final Fantasy XIII out the door in Japan as soon as possible. Some of the Versus XIII staff even help the XIII staff when they have the spare time.

Yeah seriously. Quit ragging on the Bouncer. That was from when Square actually gave a damn about making more than just the same RPGs over and over. Plus it was really fun for the 45 minutes it took to beat.

And the bouncer was a good game, not great but good, I enjoyed it!

The Bouncer was great!. Me and my friend loved that game.
The reason is because it is an action JRPG being made by the KH guys, not some spin off of the flagship game made to get some quick $$$.
cus KH team is making it

well the character is badass so its my avatr.....tht doesn't mean i'm in love witht he game as it has been shown so far (very dull imo)
Nomura is behind it, it has probably an amazing budget and the game has been in devolopement for many years now and it will come out in about 2 years.
well in the trailers versus is looking amazing for me so far lets hope that the gameplay ends up being amazing to.
