Why would they be afraid?//It's "Halo" and it makes some sense to release this game alongside Halo 3. Just because it will attract newcomers.

They should be afraid of Halo Wars sales. The appearance of a demo is proof of that. How many other first party games have had demos? Ones that usually won't sell as good. RTS console games are a tough sell, no matter the name.

True//but I'm not a RTS fan and I am buying this game on the "Halo" name and I played the demo and enjoyed it. Reason being the whole Halo concept is what made me want to play it and own it.

I didn't mean to say I played the demo and enjoyed. I meant to say I watched the gameplay videos and enjoyed those and I look forward to playing the demo and purchasing the game//lol

I too look forward to playing the demo. I put my name in the basket at MLG to try and get early access to the demo. I will find out today or tomorrow.

I like RTS, but to be honest I wish Halo Wars was for PC/360. I tried one RTS game on 360 and was disappointed. I'll try the demo. If reviews are good and controls are fixed (don't ask me how. I don't have an idea what Ensemble can do to replace mouse+kbd) I can get it. If not ... then I will wait and prey for a PC release.
