Banjo is currently at 650k and is guaranteed to hit a million, it's doing fine.

It's at 650k according to this site, but well below it according to the NPD data. Fable II looks like it's done well no matter what you go by, but Banjo more or less looks to have pretty poor sales overall

Also, please overtrack Street Fighter IV.

Those are only NPD December numbers for Banjo.

They're lifetime sales in US for Banjo and Fable II buddy.  It's just another game on this site that is incredibly off.  There's a lot more off if you look into it.

Completed XBLA: 16 / 32
Completed Retail: 17 / 64
GS Completion %: 82.63%

It is an example of a big game failing, just not on Wii as we all expect. LBP and BK, while arguably not failures, are definetily under performing and if Mario whatever produced either of those numbers plenty of people would be talking.

The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure these two games would have sold better on the Wii, especially Banjo. On the other hand, there are games on the Wii which would probably have sold more on other consoles.

Currently Playing: Skies of Arcadia Legends (GC), Dragon Quest IV (DS)

Last Game beaten: The Rub Rabbits(DS)

Ease up on the vgchartz bashing boys.

Surprising that Banjo did so poorly with the low price and free XBLA game. I'm wondering why Kameo did better. Is it because it was a launch title?

Hopefully they bundle it next xmas so more people get to play it.

I soooo wanted to purchase this game until I heard about the integrated vehicle elements. ugh...They should have stuck to the the franchise's roots.

I simply could not purchase this game based on principle. I would hate to give Microsoft or Rare the perception that their "creative" decision was supported by my money.

Off Topic: That's also the thing I liked least about Mass Effect. Hell, I did not like it at all. Driving that cumbersome vehicle around barren, reused, awkward environments.

I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.

Thats sad because Banjo is Rares best game this gen so far IMO. I'm not too worried though as most Rare games end up selling well enough, plus its a perfect candidate for bundling.

poor banjo it would have sold tons on the wii.

or at least close to R&C: tools of destruction

edit: it may not include bundles but sales are sad .:/

People that hate on vgchartz, you must realise this is a free generalised look at the global market, things will go wrong. You wont find free numbers with as sophisticated analytical tools anywhere else on the web.

I thought banjo wass doing fine...

I think I'll get it next week...

Maybe it will become even cheaper now.

I need some games to play.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
