Forums - Gaming - Hd versions of FFX and FFXII?

Personally I'm all for X but it'd be a lot smarter to remake VII instead.

Around the Network

What i'm trying to say it wasn't supposed to be a remake, remake cost as much to make a new game, they would take the same old game and put on hd consoles with an hd look and extras, it costs low money. Just like the FFVI on ps1, it was exactly the same game from snes but with good extras(fmvs). Make the ps2 FF run in HD would be cheap(they probably were generated in a really high resolution,480i isn't the native resolution for sure) and bring in those pack the same extras from their enhanced version International that is always japan only to US and EU. It's a PORT in HD.

That just seems like unnecessary manpower to use when they could utilize them elsewhere to milk the Final Fantasy name in some other way.

By the way, porting the old FFs to the PSOne is not the same as porting the PS2 FF's to the PS3. Here's the difference.

I would say if anything only VI, VII, and VIII should be, but thats because those are the only ones I would buy again.

Wow, graphics whore are we.

Is FFX and FFXII so outdated already that you can't play them?
