Well as always digital distribution is far more profitable so it seems like a great place for them to re-release their old games.

I wonder if Square is going to release any PSN games or is Square in their "we must aim for the west" mentality that isnt work well for them.

Crystal Defenders is going to PSN.

You may have something there. With FF's already costing close to 60M to make its only doubled when the game becomes A Multiplat |
What? Are you saying the tech budget for the 360 port will be 30 million dollars or 60 million dollars? (your statement is ambiguous/poorly written).
That's nonsense. Proof please.

Yeah, it's very unlikely either way. Yves Guillemot has said that a 360->PS3 port adds about 10% to the development cost. The reverse isn't likely to cost more, and since it's supposedly easier, it may even cost less.
you know what i hate? "news" that doesn't f#%@# site their sources. i wanted to read the actual press release to see how it was phrased and basically determine if this steady release of games is coming to psn/wii.
http://www.crystaldefenders.jp/jp/ hooray! their source, the official site for crystal defenders. absolutely nothing about the "steady stream of xbla games". why can't the internet use even the most basic level of journalism standards?
As long as they don't lose quality, I'm game for this idea.

Can you show some evidence of a game costing double to make Multiplatform. My - albeit limited - understanding would be that a lot of the costs regarding art design / storyline / voice overs would only need to be incurred once and that is why 3rd parties favour multiplatform for HD games these days - unless they get paid for exclusivity.
Infact, Inzanagi's comment is clearly rediculous so dont why i am trying to argue with it.

one game vs many... unless the titles they are making for the XBLA comes to the PSN eventually.
