I don't think microsoft cares.

BTW, yes, bioshock came out later on the ps3, but it doesn't make my point any less valid.

Oh I think they do.  Which is why they've always forced their internal studios to release PC ports at least six months after the console release of their game.

With third parties, unless there's a publishing deal, usually the best they can do is convince the company to keep the game off the ps3.  They can't really hurt the PC, given the dozens of others games that people are more likely to buy/build one for.  They can, however, try to do as much as damage to the (at the time) struggling ps3 as possible.

Well, for first party studios they probably do, but if they have no choice, or don't think the title will sell very well, or if it's just niche, they probably don't min making more money that way. You mentioned the ps3... but not the wii??? What's wrong with the wii?? It can handle gears of war 2! Hell, even Uncharted!

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

What many seems to not understand, is that when a game comes to the 360, and PC, its still exclsuive for a Microsoft system. Its the same as if a game is released for the PS3 and PS2, or PSP, or whatever, its still exclusive to Sony. Its not the system you should look at, its the producer of the OS, or console. So any game comming to Xbox 360 and PC, is still a game that Microsoft got. So that Sony game, the agancy, is something Microsoft got aswell ;) So great thing for Microsoft fanboys, you still get a few PS3 "exclsuives" ;)

Microsoft does not own the PC environment.  Many games can be played on a variety of Operating Systems.   Microsoft produces the OS and not much else.  So no, games released on PC by solo studios (Like TakeTwo are not exclusive for a "Microsoft" system.)

I can play games on a Linux setup.  I can play games on a Macintosh setup as well.

Exclusive means Exclusive.   If you don't need an Xbox 360 to play it,  then it isn't exclusive to the Xbox 360.

This. And MS doesn't get royalties from PC games, so they help the platform, sure, but not directly MS with money (unless they are programmed using MS libraries subject to licensing fees).
