Of course all that bad planning was based on bad analysis.
Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

EA and SecureRom, cut away.
Hope Sims3 is DRM free, I actually really want to buy it.

which means there is hope that EA wil patch all their games to not have SecuRom installed

Yeah, surprising, there are more than just Sims3 that I could have bought if they didn't have silly DRM on it. Just Sims3 is what I look forward to the most.
I've had my fair share of SecuRom problems and won't buy anything that has it on it.
Come on, EA, do the right thing.
Wait, what? Maybe if the hub of the financial world was based around video game development, you could blame the devs. But since the entire problem is much more macro than electronics companies, I'll go on record and blame the recession itself.
Let me guess, this article probably revolves around something Pachter said.
EDIT: Lol...it is a Pachter article. Was this guy really lonely in highschool, or what?
