Forums - Gaming - Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the best anime-based video game

I had the first DBZ on the Wii, and it was quite awesome. I traded it for something, and have regretted it ever since. Looks like I need to pick up 3, a.s.a.p.!

You obviously haven't played Ultimate Ninja Storm.

Quite. Lay some footage on me, would you?

May i?

By all means, the more the merrier. It's a party in here.

@Shanobi: yes, i do recommend it. It's a lot of fun with friends, especially if your friends are that particular kind of nerd.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm is probably the best Anime based game aside from Bleach on the DS and soon to be (in the US) Versus Crusade.

DBZ: Tenkaichi 3 is still up there, is very fun and true to the series, but Versus Crusade looks damn good and Ultimate Ninja Storm is very true to the Naruto series.

Agreed 100% with your post.

Bahahaha, I have to admit that that does look pretty fun, though part of what makes DBZ:BT3 so appealing is how often and how violently you can throw around the Blast 2 (super moves). Is Ninja Storm more combo-based by necessity, or is that just something that high level players do (like in BT3)?

Glad you liked it Khuu!

And i dunno, dont own the game myself "YET" but from what i seen from the demo, no, you gotta be skilled to move that damn quickly. :/

yeap, this game rules by far!!

on of the best games ever on Wii, and also, the game is had to master and learn all moves

if anyone had a pal friend code pm me (it's online is region locked)

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Well... call me crazy but I loved .hack and already finished it from vol 1-4. Not that fantastic but very addictive. On another note. IMO the best for me is Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Best damn thing I've ever seen. It was on another style(by art) but still keeping it close to the original. I say for that I'm already sold to it.

Not so much combo heavy as that's just one element to how it plays, me and my friends play it very strategically, like setting traps, if you come in for a rush attack, we'll dodge hit you with a powerful jutsu (kinda like super moves) or use something as a distraction while we call a partner to pound you.

There's a lot of elements of play, but it's very smooth and fluid, stays very true to the series, and it's a damn good game (expect ultimate ninja mode is a huge chore at times :( )
