God of War III press event in three weeks

Speaking with VG247, Sony confirmed the God of War III press event, adding European press to the RSVP list.
“Yes, the GOW3 development team will be holding an exclusive sneak peak in February, for a very select number of US & European press,” the company said.

According to Kotaku, Sony will be holding a private press event for their SCEA Santa Monica Studios title God of War III early next month to give the press a more detailed look at the eagerly awaited sequel.
With the event only a mere three weeks away, gamers can expect the first previews of God of War III to hit not long after. Our guess is that Sony will have information from the press event embargoed until after February 27, so that the hype can be focused on Killzone 2.
Not much of a wait, considering Sony unveiled the first God of War III gameplay footage last month. We've contacted SCEA for more information on the press event and hope to bring you our own exclusive coverage from the event. Stay tuned for more details.
