Thanks for the update on the entertainment numbers KatinJin. Analyst may not be happy with the MS growth but they all agree the 360 was the one bright spot in the report.

That means they pushed 28.5 million WW at the end of 2008.

 

151 mil only on the XBOX division ? Nice, but where did you find those figures ?

Are you sure that it is not the entire "Entertainement division" (XBox, games for windows and gaming devices) ?

In the powerpoint it says 360 sales doubled in Europe and outsold PS3 2:1 in the US.

YOY, revenue increased from $3.08 billion to $3.18 billion for the second Quarter (holiday).

I think it's pretty clear, even after the price cut the 360 loses less than the PS3 with no price cut. I'm guessing 360 still posts a slight loss, however it's offset by the better software sales.

Does anyone know how many they shipped in the same quarter for 2007? 6 million is a record they say and what was it before then?
