so the industry is being saved for a LONG TIME, if user-generated content is saving it... and I won't even mention "indie games" and Tetris. and they are calling it a trend too lol

I do agree with most of the list as it is expanding the industry and therefore keeping it from growing stagnant which will eventually make the industry shrink cause people grow out of gaming.

It looks like IGN's way to say: We are sorry Nfans  (that list about trends destroying videogames was really crappy and I don't even like the Wii).

It looks like IGN's way to say: We are sorry Nfans  (that list about trends destroying videogames was really crappy and I don't even like the Wii).

 

Not so much Nintendo fans but maybe a way to not look like douches in general.
