R2 is better than the RFOM IMO since i own both these games I shud know.
To me the game of the year was LBP and Fallout 3.
And R2 and Gear of wars 2 were more of the same.

Your rating is so valuable considering the fact that you've played the game? It looks like you just got some mental masturbation considering the fact that someone didn't like a ps3 game.

I agree with the OP. The weapons are what I don't like about the game. There aren't enough to begin with. The shotgun was my favorite gun in R1 because of the secondary fire. In, R2, the secondary fire is just like hitting the primary fire twice in succession, thus, people can dodge the second shot and kill you before you get a chance to pull more shots off.
Then worst of all, they took away my biggest reason for loving R1: the time I spent playing splitscreen with friends! I'd give R2 an 8/10. I was planning to replace it with KZ2 come feb anyway so I wasn't too concerned.

R2 is better than R1 in many ways, but it is a step back in just as many, in my opinion.
I agree that it was overhyped, and I'd probably give it an 8.6 overall, only because I found the SP to be a pretty fun romp. I haven't played the MP for more than an hour.
Personally, I was never that excited about the game prior to release. The first one was decent, but not outstanding, and the Killzone 2 beta was holding my attention at the time anyway.
