Be careful with CC liquidation. They'll jack up the price before the sale price, ending up with them actually more expensive than you could find elsewhere.

That's why I said may because liquidators are crazy.

That should be enough a reason to avoid CC.

The Dell XPS series is quite popular down here and I haven't heard any complaints.

I'd avoid Gateway. I hate Gateway.

Edit: Actually, since Acer bought them from AOL, they might not suck anymore.

Here in Mexico i bought a Refurbished Toshiba A215 laptop 2 gig ram, 2gigs turion64x2, 160 HDD, ATI X1200 (that sucks actually), Vista Home premium

For aprox. 500 USD, i suposse that in US you can get it cheaper because the import taxes that were aded to the final price when i bought it.

4 months after it works quite well, i am very happy with it, i have made a lot of Web sites (my freelance job), Coding, School documents and Graphic Works. so it payed itself.

due to how immature this community this is and sadly immature and "twestermed" mind of the some particular admin i was forced to leave this forums.

But there are good people who I'm willing to help even if im banned.
