No. The closest I've ever come is buying a Dreamcast at launch, but there were already like 5-6 games I wanted on day one. God Dreamcast was awesome. My main game naturally was Soul Calibur.

Same for me (except swap in Diamond). I wasn't really interested in the DS before it.

Buying it was the best gaming decision of my life, since I've played so many games on it (much to the chagrin of my wallet.......which is quite thin now).
